Name: Hermione Jane Granger
Year: Seventh
House: Gryffindor
What You Know About This Character:
Hermione first appeared on Harry's first train ride to Hogwarts. She was extremely bossy and very annoying for a majority of the book. She loosened up a bit after the troll incident, but she still abides by the rules, even if she's willing to break them every once in a while. Hermione is very smart and organized. She keeps Harry and Ron in line, without her it would be a miracle if they turned their work in on time. She devoloped well over the course of the series and became a strong-willed young lady. She's amibitious but remains self-concsious. Her relationship with Ron is still very confusing, but it's become obvious that they both like each other as more than just friends.
Sample Roleplay:
Hermione walked into the Great Hall and headed straight for the Gryffindor table. She couldn't wait to start the school year, it was her last year at Hogwarts and she wanted it to be memorable. She sat down at the table and set her bag on the ground next to her. Hermione looked up at McGonagall, she was curious about the usual start of term speech. She knew McGonagall was bound to be worried about the school. McGonagall seemed calm enough though; Hermione gave her a smile to encourage her. Professor McGonagall had always been her favorite teacher, tough but fair. She listened as she gave a short speech and watched as the plates filled magically with food from the kitchens then started to eat.
Later, she headed for the Gryffindor Common Room, ready to get some reading in before she was too tired. The Common Room was surprisingly quiet. There were only a few people in there and they were conversing softly with each other. She wasn't entirely shocked, but it was different than she was used to. Since the rise of Voldemort and the death of Dumbledore, everything had changed drastically. The weight of the Wizarding World rested on Harry's shoulders, one of her best friends.
